Kaggle Competition Entry – Building A Data Science Portfolio

Our next meetup will be held on 4th November at 15:00 at Starbucks, Starbucks, El Corte Inglés, Av. Federico Soto, 1, 03003 Alicante.

After the success of the last session and the group’s interest in participating in a Kaggle competition, this session will focus on:

1) coming to a group consensus on a Kaggle competition for the team to enter

2) formulating a project plan based on the chosen competition

These competitions utilise a wide array of skills, with potential prizes for the best competitors – while also greatly enhancing the portfolio and skills of both professionals and newcomers to the data science industry.

To get a general idea of the type of competition that the group would like to enter, I’ve created a sample poll where you can voice your interest. However, the final determination will be made at the meetup on 4th November.
